Mint immutable MCSC-1 tokens in seconds.

What is “token immutability”?

Token immutability refers to when a token’s canister controllers are set to a “black hole address” or have no controllers at all. Black hole addresses are designed to do verifiably nothing for the sole purpose of burning tokens and making canisters untouchable. To “black hole” a canister, the canister controllers must be set only to the black hole address and token principal (or no controllers at all). This makes the canister code unmodifiable, trustlessly preventing bad actors from modifying the canister code. MCSM allows project creators to mint immutable MCSC-1 tokens with no canister controllers and with no coding knowledge.

What is MCSC-1?

MCSC-1 (Magic Conch Shell Chain 1) is a fork of the ICRC-1 standard designed to mint all tokens with zero canister controllers, while maintaining compatibility with other tokens available in the ICP ecosystem. This makes MCSC-1 easy to work with, transparent, and ready to use with existing ICP dapps.

Can I still use a MCSC-1 token in my project?

Yes, canisters can be created to accept any MCSC-1 token using standard ICRC-1 transfer calls. Create a DAO, accept payments, create staking platforms, or really anything you can imagine.

Pricing?

5 MCS or 5 ICP per mint.

MCS tokens used towards minting will be burned from the total supply. Only 10,000 MCS tokens are in existence.

ICP tokens can also be used as payment. ICP used towards minting directly support the MCS project. This supports project maintenance, cycles, marketing, and the MCS liquidity pool.

Risk Advisory: A “black hole” canister is only one of many steps required to minimize investor risk, including liquidity locks. MCSM cannot guarantee tokens minted on the platform are safe investments, you should always DYOR about project details, team members, tokenomics, liquidity and more. Cryptocurrencies are a highly volitile investment and any asset, including MCSC-1 and MCS tokens, can gain or lose value at any time.
